[New product body bag now on sale] We'll introduce you to the details behind our body bags!
Hello! I'm the HushTug musician.
In fact, HushTug hasn't released any new products since last year (2020).
We have also received inquiries from customers asking, "When will the new products be ready?" and "When will the body bags go on sale?"
Sorry for the long wait, everyone.
Starting today, we are releasing a new product : a body bag !
This body bag has a lot of attention to detail and time spent on it.
This time, we interviewed Nakajima, who is in charge of product development, about the particularities involved in body bags!

Q. What made you decide to make a body bag your new product?
Q. When did you start making body bags?
However, I think it was around August 2019 that I started doing basic research on what kind of body bag I wanted to make.
Q: That must have taken a long time!
But the main reason is that we made many small adjustments.
We made samples and improved them many times until we were satisfied with the product.
Q.So please tell us about the special features of the body bag!
There are surprisingly few body bags with leather shoulder straps.
HushTug's strength is its simple design, so by using all leather we aimed to create a unified and luxurious look.
Also, at first the bag was made of polyester, but it slipped and didn't fit well.
Using leather provides a better grip and makes it more comfortable to use.

As you can see, the base is cut at an angle, but it is designed to conform to the body so it fits snugly.
By the way, it can be worn on either the left or right shoulder!
- Attention to detail in the base
No matter how luxurious a bag is or how well the leather has aged, it will still look shabby if it has lost its shape.
To prevent this from happening, we have designed the products to be resistant to deformation so that they can be used for a long time.
- Designed to maintain the silhouette
If the gusset is too narrow, you won't be able to fit the things you want in it, but if it's too wide, the design will look clumsy.
The gusset width was determined to allow for secure storage of essentials such as a wallet and cell phone, while still maintaining a smart design.

まず、矢野様にご参加頂いた抽選販売、その後のボディバッグの一般発売に関してご不快な思いをさせてしまい誠に申し訳ございません。
このようになってしまった原因や詳細なご説明については後述しますが、ご不快に感じられたのは販売ページやスケジュールに関して弊社の配慮が欠けていたと感じております。

抽選販売においてお客様を煽って購入を促すという意図はございませんでした。
以前実施したボディバッグの先行販売以降、長くお待ち頂いたお客様に優先して商品をお手に取って頂けるように、一部のお客様にのみの抽選販売(10月下旬お届け)という形を取らせて頂きました。
矢野様にお送りする商品は試作品では無く、ご予約頂いたお客様のために作った一般発売と同様に販売用に作られた商品でございます。
抽選販売後の短い期間でボディバッグの一般発売(11月下旬,12月下旬お届け)が決まった事が「抽選販売によりお客様を煽って販売を促した」と矢野様が感じられたのだと思いますが、そのようになってしまった原因として
・弊社工場において職人が増加した事による製造スケジュールの変更
・先行販売,先行取得をさせて頂くいう表記の欠如
の2点があると考えております。

これまで日本での販売数の増加に対し工場での月間の生産数が足りておらず、新製品の量産に着手する職人が足りなかった事からボディバッグの発売が遅れておりました。
そうした問題を解決するために今年から職人の採用を増やしてまいりました。
しかし、上記のようにお待ち頂いているお客様には出来るだけ早く商品をお手に取って頂こうと、7月に先行して抽選販売をさせて頂きました。
その後採用した職人が既存商品の量産を担当できるようになり、量産経験のある職人が9月頃からボディバッグの量産に着手できる体制になったため一般発売のお知らせをしたという経緯がございます。
そのため、当初は一般発売の目処が立っていなかったため抽選販売をしていましたが、その後すぐに一般発売を告知する運びとなってしまいました。
・先行販売,先行取得をさせて頂くいう表記の欠如
上記の原因から抽選販売と一般発売の時期が近くなってしまい「煽るような目的で抽選販売をした」と感じさせてしまったのかと思います。
その際モンゴル側の職人のスケジュールによって近く一般発売ができる可能性を考慮せず「先行販売,先行取得」であるという表記が欠如していた事が、更に上記のような誤解を生じさせてしまったのではと感じております。

重ねてになりますが、ボディバッグの発売に関して矢野様にご不快な思いをさせてしまった事、大変申し訳ございませんでした。
ありがたい事にお客様が新商品の発売を楽しみに思って頂いた分、生産のスケジュールや発売時期が原因でそうしたご不快な思いをさせてしまうという可能性を考慮できていなかったと感じております。
HushTugは商品はもちろん、サポートなどでもお客様にご満足頂けるよう努めたいと思っておりますので、今後はそうした問題の無いよう発売告知などについても改善していきます。
また、ボディバッグにつきましては予定通り10月下旬(10/20頃)にお届けの予定でございます。

長い間ボディバッグの到着を待ち、先日の抽選会に参加し、めでたく購入権を得たものです。商品の到着は10月と聞いています。楽しみに待っておりました。そこで量産のこのニュース、それはそれでめでたいのですが、しみじみ考えるに、待っていた多くの購入者は「煽られた」だけなのですか？もしかしてパイロット試作品を捌くための抽選会だったのですか？
もし量産スケジュールがちゃんと見えていたなら、抽選会の時に「先行取得」というべきです。プレミアム性があるなしを申しているわけではありませんよ、念のため。多くの方がこの製品を手にできるのは嬉しいことです。ただし、マーケティング手法を明確に誤っている、そしてその手法は貴社のsustainable growthに好影響を与えることはない、という点を指摘しておきますね。
