and has even produced items for brands patronized by the Imperial Household.
Founded about 90 years ago in Ueno as a company manufacturing drawstring bags for geishas. At its peak, it produced 2,000 to 3,000 bags per month, earning immense trust within the industry to the extent that it has never had a single day without work since its establishment.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, when orders declined and the company faced a crisis, we met HushTug. We resonated with their philosophy of "showcasing excellent dormant technologies to the world," leading us to undertake almost all of HushTug's production.
We pour all the expertise gained through producing various brands into HushTug products. From a professional perspective, we meticulously attend to details that general customers might not even notice.
In the world of bag making, it is common for "manufacturers" and "artisans" to work separately.

Bags often experience more stress than they appear to. At D.bell, we understand each of these areas through experience and theory, and we implement measures to compensate for the weaknesses of leather, such as adding nylon reinforcement to stressed areas.
This reinforcement technique is rarely performed in typical factories. It prevents the leather from stretching or tearing while maintaining its natural texture.

D.bell's quality control boasts one of the highest standards in Japan. While many manufacturers rely on "random sampling inspection," D.bell's policy is 100% inspection. From the moment materials arrive until shipment, detailed checks are performed across seven steps.
