[HushTug] Introducing a sample of the new mini bag!
Hello, this is Nagamine from HushTug.
Today, I'd like to introduce the newly completed mini bag sample.
I will be comparing and showing you both the 1st sample and 2nd sample simultaneously.
I'll be talking about the size and how it looks when worn, so please read on until the end.
About the 1st Sample
The 1st sample, which was completed first, has a slightly smaller size. It uses "gloss leather" as the material.
Gloss leather uses Himeji-produced leather, and by devising the finishing process, it achieves a soft texture.
For regular leather totes, the process is usually "tanning → embossing," but gloss leather uses the reverse process: "embossing → tanning."
This allows the leather, which has hardened from heat, to be re-softened, giving it a supple and natural texture.
However, the 1st sample had an issue where unnatural wrinkles appeared when adjusting the leather thickness, leaving the problem of "lacking a sense of luxury."
Also, because it was designed based on the width, there was an issue where the inside would bend when a long wallet was inserted horizontally.
Improvements in the 2nd Sample
In the 2nd sample, these issues have been improved.

Changed the type of leather

Increased the size by one notch

Improved the handle
Adopted N shrink leather to reduce wrinkling and achieve an elegant texture.
Adjusted the width and overall balance to allow for smooth storage of a long wallet.
Re-evaluated the thickness for improved ease of carrying.
Furthermore, we've also added工夫 to the interior.
On one side, there's a zipper pocket for secure storage of valuables like key cases and AirPods. On the other side, there's an open pocket for smartphones and mobile batteries.
Storage capacity has also improved, allowing you to fit a plastic bottle, a long wallet, and a pouch together.
It's surprisingly spacious for its appearance, making it the perfect size for daily use.
Future Improvement Plans
The 2nd sample turned out to be a highly refined product, but we are still considering further improvements.
For example, we believe that by adjusting the width of the handle a little more, we can make it even easier to carry. Also, the width of the interior zipper pocket will be extended by about 12cm.
