[HushTug] The first sample of the vertical mini tote bag is now complete!
Hello. I'm Nakajima, the designer at HushTug.
This time, I'd like to introduce the 1st sample of our newly completed "vertical mini tote."
Until now, HushTug has offered two types of mini totes: the "zip mini tote" and the "leather mini tote."
Both have been well-received for their large size, able to fit A4 files, but through conversations with customers at our stores, we've increasingly heard requests for "a slightly more compact mini tote."
That's how this new vertical mini tote was born.
Features of the Completed 1st Sample

Designed with an overall vertical form.

Sized to store 500ml PET bottles and long wallets vertically.

Approximately 2/3 the height of conventional mini totes, and slightly slimmer in width.

Compact yet maintains a firm feel and high-quality finish.
Interior Specifications

Features a suede-like beige lining.

Finished with a luxurious look and feel.
② Pockets

Zipper pocket: Securely stores valuables like AirPods and key cases.

Open pocket: Allows for quick access to smartphones and small items.
Compact, yet designed to keep essential items organized.
Points to be Improved
There were also issues discovered through actual use.

Zipper pocket is a little too deep → Will be made slightly shallower

Opening is narrow, making it difficult to open and close → Zipper position will be adjusted upwards

While storage capacity is sufficient, the width and depth will be widened by a few centimeters to allow for more room.
By addressing these, we will pursue even greater usability in the next sample.

Usage Scenarios

Hand-carrying is the basic style. Can be held in the same way as existing mini totes.

In hot weather, it can store PET bottles or tumblers, and a folding umbrella fits neatly vertically.
This size is perfect for those who don't want to carry an overly large bag but need to store their absolute essentials.
