[HushTug] Introducing a sample of the new mini bag!
Hello, this is Nagamine from HushTug.
Today, I'd like to introduce the newly completed mini bag samples.
This time, I'll show you a comparison of the 1st sample and the 2nd sample simultaneously.
Please read until the end as I will be discussing the size and how it looks when worn.
About the 1st Sample
The first sample completed had a slightly smaller size. It used "gloss leather" for the material.
Gloss leather achieves a soft texture by using Himeji-produced leather and devising the finishing process.
Normally, for leather totes, the process is "tanning → embossing," but gloss leather uses the reverse process of "embossing → tanning."
This allows the leather, which has hardened with heat, to be softened again, giving it a supple and natural texture.
However, with the 1st sample, when adjusting the thickness of the leather, some unnatural wrinkles appeared, leaving the issue of "lacking a luxurious feel."
Also, because it was designed based on the width, there was a problem where the inside would bend when a long wallet was placed horizontally.
Improvements in the 2nd Sample
In the 2nd sample, these issues have been improved.

Changed the type of leather

Increased the size by one notch

Improved the handle
Adopted N-shrink leather, suppressing wrinkles while achieving an elegant texture.
Adjusted the width and overall balance to smoothly accommodate a long wallet.
Reviewed the thickness for improved grip.
Furthermore, we also made improvements to the interior.
On one side, a zipper pocket is placed, allowing secure storage for valuables such as key cases and AirPods. On the other side, an open pocket is provided for smartphones and mobile batteries.
The storage capacity has also been enhanced, making it possible to store a plastic bottle, a long wallet, and a pouch together.
It has a larger capacity than it looks, making it the perfect size for daily use.
Future Improvement Plans
The 2nd sample turned out to be a highly complete product, but further improvements are being considered.
For example, we believe that we can further improve the grip by adjusting the width of the handle slightly. Additionally, the width of the inner zipper pocket is planned to be extended by about 12 cm.
