01What is HushTug?
HushTug is a leather brand that started selling in 2019.
While primarily focused on online sales, we opened a store in Ikebukuro in 2023, and a second store in Harajuku Omotesando in 2025.

03About working style
HushTug offers flexible working arrangements to ensure that even parents with children can work with peace of mind.
The following are the main working conditions. If you have a preferred working style, please feel free to consult us, as we will do our best to accommodate it.
■ Basic working conditions
Workplace: 5-minute walk from Otsuka Station (on-site attendance in principle)
Working start times and daily working hours can be adjusted to your preferences. There's no need to fix them to the same time every day.
For example,
If you want to come in an hour later on Mondays due to your child's lessons
If you usually work 4 hours but want to work 3 hours due to an errand
Such adjustments are possible.
Additionally, in cases of a child's sudden illness, it is possible to discuss switching to remote work depending on the situation.
■ How to spend public holidays
Once you are familiar with the work, office attendance on public holidays is not mandatory.
However, we do ask that you handle basic tasks such as replying to emails.
Also, while you don't need to constantly be at your PC, we ask that you keep notifications for our internal chat tool active so you can be aware of urgent communications and respond flexibly.

No problem.
You can take the day off on the morning of, and you can also leave early depending on the situation.
Q2. If I'm absent on the day, by what time do I need to contact you?
We ask that you contact us approximately 1 to 2 hours before your shift begins.
This is just a guideline, so it's fine if you can manage it within a reasonable range.
Q3. Do I need to call to report an absence?
No phone call is required.
HushTug uses Slack for internal communication, so you can simply notify us of your absence via Slack.

We will consider adjusting your working hours during your child's long holidays (e.g., summer vacation) depending on the situation.

Q5. Are there any gender or age restrictions?
No gender or age restrictions apply.
We welcome those who have been out of work for a while or have a career gap.
Q6. Can I work while being supported by my family?
If you wish to work within the scope of family support, adjustments are possible.
Instead of lowering your hourly wage to stay within the family support limit, we adjust by reducing working hours.
You can rest assured that you can work at a comfortable pace without affecting your salary level.
However, we generally ask that you work every weekday, so we cannot accommodate significant changes to working days, such as working only once a week to avoid exceeding the family support limit.

Q7. Are there any breaks during work hours?
In accordance with the law, there are no breaks for shifts less than 6 hours.
However, you may take breaks for restrooms or light meals as needed.
Q8. Is there any overtime?
Basically, there is no overtime.
Most employees leave work on time every day.
Of course, there is absolutely no compulsion to work overtime.
Q9. Is transportation expense covered?
Transportation expenses are fully covered (up to 20,000 yen per month).
Additionally, if you live nearby, walking or cycling to work is also possible.
Q10. Is customer support the only task I will be responsible for?
Primarily, you will be responsible for customer support tasks, such as responding to inquiries from customers.
Once you are accustomed to the work, you can challenge other tasks according to your preferences and aptitude.
However, you will continue to be responsible for customer support tasks.

No special skills are required.
As long as you can communicate smoothly with internal and external parties, you'll be fine.
Q12. Do I need to provide my own PC?
You are required to provide your own PC.
We will discuss the necessary specifications in detail during the interview.
Q13. What is the company atmosphere like?
The atmosphere is one where each employee works freely and comfortably.
HushTug is currently operated by 11 full-time employees (6 men, 5 women) and 2 executives (men). *5 people are in charge of customer support.
In addition, there are 20 contract and part-time members (10 men, 10 women), and a team of about 30 people supports HushTug.
