1. We eliminated all unnecessary decorations to achieve ultimate simplicity. Because it's simple, there's no hiding any stitching or shape distortions, requiring extremely precise manufacturing techniques.
2. Himeji leather is used for both the interior and exterior. This creates a luxurious feel even in unseen details.
3. The leather is chrome-tanned. It is resistant to "scratches, water stains, and color fading," allowing you to use it beautifully for a long time.

4. By thinning the leather to its limit, we achieved a thickness of just 2cm. In addition, it's the same size as a typical coin purse, so it fits neatly into your pocket without bulk.

10. To make it easier to insert and remove cards, we adjusted the size down to the millimeter and finished the interior with satin material instead of leather, balancing design and functionality.
11. By cutting the gusset of the coin purse into a diamond shape, we increased its range of motion, allowing the wallet to open wide. When closed, all cut edges align parallel, maintaining a beautiful design.

This L-shaped zipper wallet is a product that combines Handbag Suzuki, a company with over 50 years of history and world-class sewing techniques, with the globally acclaimed Himeji leather.
Handbag Suzuki had been facing the risk of closure due to a 50% decrease in orders caused by the COVID-19 pandemic and a chronic shortage of successors.
However, they possessedoutstanding, world-class techniqueshoned over 50 years and numerous production achievements, including for high-end brands.
Therefore, we decided to jointly develop a product that combines HushTug's simple design with the highly-regarded Himeji leather and excellent Japanese sewing techniques.
This project was launched to pass on the world's finest Himeji leather and sewing techniques to future generations.
The resulting product, embodying this hope, is HushTug's confident creation.
