01 What is HushTug?
HushTug is a men's leather brand that launched in 2019!
None of the founding members had any experience in the apparel industry, but the company is run by six full-time employees and has grown to the point where it receives around 100 orders every day.
Although we mainly sell online, we opened a store in Ikebukuro in 2023 and our second store, the Harajuku Omotesando store, in 2025. We are aiming to open our third store this year.
The company is currently growing at a rate that surpasses that of established brands that have been in business for decades, and plans to continue expanding its business through online and store openings.
02 Business content
Business management involves a wide range of work, including accounting, finance, labor, legal affairs, and general affairs.
At first glance, it may seem like a difficult task, but the first task we will do together is actually very simple!

- Enter the amount of the invoice received from the client into a spreadsheet (Excel) and save it in a folder.

These are the types of work we do.
These are routine tasks, so it's a job that people who can work steadily can thrive in!
This is a job that can be completed if you put in the effort, so you won't get stressed out because you don't get results, and one of the attractions is that you can go home on time every day.
This job often involves organizing scattered invoice papers and data, so it may be suitable for people who like to keep things tidy.
This is a job that is best suited to those who are comfortable working with numbers and have a Level 3 or higher bookkeeping certificate, but even those with no experience can work without any problems!
You might think that you'll be doing routine work all the time, but that's not the case.
Once you become accustomed to the job, you will gradually begin to take on more practical tasks, such as creating systems that will make your daily routine work more efficient and allow you to complete your work in less time!
We will think together about ways to finish a task that previously took 30 minutes in 15 minutes, or a task that previously took an hour in 30 minutes.
It's not just about "increasing your typing speed."
This means utilizing IT and AI technologies to devise ways to complete tasks without the need for manual intervention!
For example, below is an example of how a task that was previously entered entirely by hand can now be completed in a shorter amount of time by using a spreadsheet function (the work involved is for illustrative purposes only).
You don't need to know any of these things before joining!
All of this will be explained to you after you join the company, so please feel free to ask any questions you may have.
By streamlining each task in this way, the amount of work that can be done by one person during working hours can be increased, and it is possible to complete a workload that would normally require three people by one person without working overtime.
If you repeat the above steps, you can earn a raise even in business management!

03About work style
Workplace
The main place of work is an office located a 5-minute walk from Otsuka Station in Tokyo.
There is currently no possibility of the base being far away from here or of being transferred!
Workplace atmosphere
We have six employees, four men and two women (plus two male executives).
There are 17 contract or part-time employees (8 men, 9 women), with an average age of around 25 years old.

Taking action is encouraged, and there is a strong culture in which failure is also valued as proof that one has taken action.
The remote work system that existed previously has now been abolished for productivity reasons, but after coming to the office in the morning, it is fine to go to a place where you can concentrate best (a cafe, a park, etc.) and work there!
About holidays
One of the cultures at HushTug is to "rest well when you need to rest."
Employees are given two days off per week, and are required to declare their preferred days off for the following week by the previous Sunday.
You must be at work on Tuesdays as there is a general meeting, but you are free to take days off on other days!
We do not have holidays, but we do have special holidays during Obon and the New Year period.
In addition, all employees are entitled to 100% paid leave, so they can use it freely.
No one is forced to work overtime, so all employees go home on time almost every day.
When you do take a break, make sure to rest well and maximize your performance during work hours.
