Regarding price revision of leather tote

As stated on the product page, the price of the leather tote will increase at the end of November. However, the price increase will occur as soon as the current stock is sold out, so it may happen earlier than expected.

Reasons for the price increase

Due to the effects of COVID-19 and war, shipping containers have been delayed, materials needed to make the bags have been unavailable, and there is an increased risk of delivery delays or production being impossible. To ensure a stable and high-quality delivery of HushTug's best-selling tote bag, we have decided to outsource it to artisans in Japan.

The production costs are higher because we request the most skilled craftsmen in Japan, but we will do our best to deliver even better products.

I learned that due to the current situation, apparel companies are experiencing a slump in performance, which is causing Japanese craftsmen to lose their jobs, and that many workshops are going out of business due to the aging of the workforce.

As fellow Japanese, I feel very sad to see the skilled techniques that have been passed down from generation to generation being lost.
