Handbag Suzuki, the company responsible for manufacturing this product, faced a crisis of closure due to a 50% decrease in orders caused by the COVID-19 pandemic and a chronic shortage of successors.
However, they possessed a wealth of manufacturing achievements and techniques, including those for high-end brands, and held firm, world-class technology.
Therefore, we decided to co-develop a product that combines HushTug's simple design with globally recognized Himeji leather and excellent Japanese sewing technology.
This project was launched to preserve the world's finest Himeji leather and sewing technology for future generations.
