About waterproofing

At HushTug, we sell products made from waterproof leather that has been rigorously tested by the Himeji Leather Industry Technology Center.

In tests, we dripped water continuously onto leather in its most water-permeable condition, and the result was that the water did not soak in for 35 minutes.

The leather is very resistant to rain and dirt, so you can use it without hesitation even during leisure activities, but please note that it is not completely waterproof or dustproof.

Also, the waterproof effect may gradually weaken with use.

This product provides waterproofing for a long period of time, but please note that the waterproofing effect is not permanent.

If you feel that the effect is starting to wear off, we recommend using a commercially available leather waterproof spray.
