"Dropped Lining": The Unfixed Lining Structure
HushTug's tote bags and drawstring bags feature a design called "dropped lining."
This means the lining is not sewn to the main body but is dropped inside like a bag.
This structure offers the following advantages:
Peace of mind if contents spill
Since the lining can be pulled out and wiped, you can prevent liquids from soaking into the leather.
Easy to clean the lining
You can pull it out and clean it with a lint roller, keeping it always fresh and clean.
Can store items fully in the corners of the bag
If the lining were made too small, it wouldn't reach the corners, which would reduce storage capacity and cause the bag to lose its shape.
That's why it's intentionally designed with "extra room."
