[HushTug] Introducing all types of wallets!
Hello, I'm Nakajima, the designer at HushTug.
This time, I'd like to introduce some recommended wallets from HushTug.
Recently, HushTug has also incorporated wallets with large capacities, compact yet functional designs, and even minimalist wallets designed solely for bills and cards.
In this article, I will categorize wallets by their capacity and explain in detail "who each type is recommended for."
Wallet Types
First, I will briefly introduce HushTug's wallet types, divided into three categories.
Long Wallets: Large capacity type
Medium Wallets: Decent capacity, but compact to carry
Compact Wallets: Less capacity, but incredibly thin and compact to carry
Larger Wallets (Long Wallets)
First, I'll introduce our larger wallets.
HushTug offers two types of larger wallets: the Round Zip Wallet and the Long Wallet.
Round Zip Wallet
This Round Zip Wallet features a classic design with a round zipper that opens wide.
This type can store bills, coins, and cards, making it our largest capacity wallet.
The main compartment allows you to separate bills and also has space for receipts.
Six cards can be stored on each side, for a total of 12 cards. There are also two free pockets at the very back.
The coin compartment is entirely made of leather, giving it a luxurious feel.
The zipper pull was previously made of leather, but we changed it to a metal pull for a more secure closure, as the leather sometimes caught when closing the zipper.
Due to its large capacity, it is quite thick and wide, but it is highly recommended for those who carry a lot of cash and cards.
Long Wallet
Next, I will introduce the Long Wallet.
This is a bi-fold wallet, with space for 6 cards at the top, and additional free pockets.
The coin pocket is intentionally designed to be shallow, prioritizing ease of use even when it's full.
Like the Round Zip Wallet, it features a metal pull tab and a secure "snap" closure.
It can hold 10 to 15 bills, so you can also layer receipts inside.
It is smaller and thinner than the Round Zip Wallet, making it perfect for those who want a compact wallet.
It also pairs well with HushTug's sacoches and zip mini totes, and is recommended for those who want to carry a compact wallet but still need sufficient capacity.
Medium Wallets
Next, I will introduce our medium wallets.
These wallets are palm-sized, offering a decent capacity while remaining convenient to hold.
HushTug offers a total of five medium-sized wallets: the Medium Wallet, L-Zip Wallet, Bill Wallet, Nano Clip Wallet, and Money Clip.
Medium Wallet
This bi-fold wallet can hold up to 6 cards and also has a free pocket.
It features a single divider, allowing you to separate 10,000-yen bills from 1,000-yen bills.
Furthermore, all visible parts are made of leather, giving it a very luxurious feel.
It has a flap, allowing it to close securely, providing peace of mind.
However, due to its large capacity, please note that it is quite thick.
It fits perfectly into sacoches and shoulder bags, or any bag with a narrow width.
L-Zip Wallet
The L-Zip Wallet doesn't have as much storage capacity as the Medium Wallet, but it can hold everything you need.
It has a thin gusset, making it an ideal wallet for those who want a smart and compact wallet.
Bill Wallet
The Bill Wallet is a palm-sized wallet.
It can store up to 8 cards, and has two free pockets for organizing cards.
Additionally, similar to the Medium Wallet, it has a single divider, allowing you to separate bills or store receipts.
However, it does not have a coin pocket, which prevents the wallet from losing its shape, making it an ideal wallet for those who prefer to carry a separate coin purse.
Nano Clip Wallet
The Nano Clip Wallet is designed to compactly store bills, coins, and cards all in one place.
It can hold up to 3 cards, with additional storage available in the free pocket.
Bills are simply clipped in, allowing for smooth insertion and removal.
Furthermore, the leather on both sides ensures that bills do not easily fall out.
This product is recommended for those looking for a compact wallet that allows for smooth access.
Money Clip
The money clip is a product I designed based on customer requests.
This money clip is designed to hold up to 6 cards, and also includes a free pocket on one side.
Additionally, the metal fitting is detachable, so if it ever breaks, parts can be replaced, ensuring peace of mind.
This also does not come with a coin case, and is a highly recommended item for those who want to compactly carry bills and cards.
Compact Wallets
Finally, I will introduce our compact wallets.
Among the items already available at HushTug is the Fragment Case, and we also have a Compact Wallet planned for release around late May to June.
Fragment Case
This is a compact, palm-sized fragment case.
It features four external card slots, allowing for very smooth card insertion and removal.
It uses the same metal fittings as the round zip wallet, creating a secure "snap" closure that is very convenient.
Inside, there's a free pocket for coins and bills. It's perfect for those who want to carry their essentials compactly and smartly.
Compact Wallet
It features three card pockets, making it very smooth to insert and remove cards.
Additionally, there's a free pocket at the top that can hold about two cards, ensuring ample storage capacity.
There's a space to store bills folded in half, and in practice, separating 1,000-yen bills one by one makes them even smoother to retrieve.
Coins can also be stored in the exterior pocket, making it a convenient design that allows you to carry cards, bills, and coins all in one.
Its slim and compact size is perfect for those who prefer small bags or want to go out hands-free. This recommended wallet is not only stylish but also highly practical.
