HushTug is looking for factories to manufacture our products.

We are primarily considering a factory producing genuine leather products, but we are also considering producing other materials.

What is HushTug?

HushTug is a men's leather brand founded in 2018.

As of March 2024, we sell approximately 2,500 products each month.

When we first started, we set up our own factory in Mongolia, employed local craftsmen, produced Mongolian leather products, and sold them in Japan. However, we decided to withdraw from Mongolia due to reasons such as COVID-19, the weak yen, and the Ukraine war.

About two years ago, we moved all of our production bases to Japan, and we now have production outsourced to three domestic factories.

Witnessing the lack of successors facing Japan's leather industry and the problem of work moving overseas, we began to think about how we could help boost Japan's leather industry in any way we could, so that the wonderful techniques of the industry are not lost and are passed on to future generations.

For this reason, HushTug is committed to tanning and sewing almost all of its products domestically.

Recruiting partner factories

At HushTug, we are continually looking for factories to manufacture our products.

In order to prevent mismatches, we have listed below the characteristics of the factories we would like to partner with.

After checking the above, please fill out the application form at the bottom of this page and submit your partnership application. We will respond within 3 business days.


Factories that HushTug would like to partner with

  • Sewing is done at a base in Japan (the nationality of the craftsmen is not an issue)
  • Manufactures bags, purses, wallets, and other small items
  • We are proud to manufacture products that meet the world-class standards of Japan quality, including high-quality sewing and excellent durability.
  • Smooth communication is possible
  • We look forward to working with you every day to develop higher quality products.
  • You can empathize with HushTug's philosophy of "boosting the Japanese leather industry"

Factories that HushTug will not cooperate with

  • Sewing is not done in Japan (e.g. some manufacturing processes are outsourced overseas)
  • The quality of the products, such as the stitching and durability, does not take pride in Japan quality.
  • Unable to communicate smoothly (e.g. taking more than 3 days to reply)
  • I don't agree with HushTug's philosophy of "boosting the Japanese leather industry"
