[Video included] We'll show you the real behind-the-scenes of Japan's leather industry.
Recently, we had the opportunity to interview Handbag Suzuki, the Japanese factory that produces almost all of HushTug's products.
We publish information that is not normally available, such as the manufacturing process for HushTug products and Japan's leather industry.
Although the craftsmen in the factory do not normally have any contact with customers, they are looking forward to customers being able to watch this YouTube video.
We would be happy if you could leave a comment about the video or a message to the craftsman in the comment section of the video!

This may seem sudden, but all HushTug products are made entirely in Japan, from cutting the leather to sewing to inspection.
Naturally, if all processes were carried out within Japan, the quality would increase, but at the same time the cost would also increase.
While many brands manufacture about half of their product parts cheaply overseas and only process the exterior in Japan, selling their products under the label "Made In Japan," why is HushTug so determined to carry out the entire process in Japan?
This is because he wants to revive Japan's declining leather industry.
During the bubble era, Japan's leather industry was booming.
Later, when the economy worsened and there was a demand for "cheap leather products," many brands began moving their factories overseas.
Japanese factories, where "quality is high but labor costs are high," are gradually seeing less work.
Fewer young people are aspiring to become leather craftsmen, and the industry is now facing a serious lack of successors.
The average age of the craftsmen around Handbag Suzuki-san, whom we interviewed this time, is 75 years old.
It is said that many factories have no successors and go out of business.
However, Japan's leather industry produces products of such extremely high quality that it can be proud of its global reputation.
-We must not let this wonderful tradition die out in our generation.
・I want people all over the world to know about Japan's leather culture and revive the industry.
With this in mind, we carry out all processes, from cutting the leather to sewing to inspection, in our factory in Japan.
This time, I had the opportunity to interview Handbag Suzuki, the manufacturer of almost all of HushTug's products, and this feeling was further strengthened.
Through HushTug, we hope to not only deliver products that impress our customers, but also keep going until we have spread Japan's wonderful leather culture to the world.
This has been a long story about me, but if you're interested, please watch the video below to get an idea of the reality of Japan's leather industry.
We would also be happy if you could leave a comment with your thoughts on the video and any messages you would like to send to the craftsmen!
