We recently held a photo contest for our ambassadors and received some very good photos.
Therefore, this time we will be holding the "HushTug Photo Contest", which is open to everyone and can be easily entered using a smartphone!
There will be some great prizes for the selected entries, so please apply.

There are three prizes for this HushTug photo contest.

First, I will explain the prizes and selection criteria, starting with the Grand Prize winner.

The grand prize will be awarded to the photo chosen by us, the HushTug employees!
As creators of the HushTug brand, we choose photos that we feel are great.

◎ Social Media Award
The SNS Award is given to the photo that receives the most positive response from followers on Instagram.
Instagram is already filled with beautiful and stylish photos.

◎ Mongolian Craftsman Award
As the name suggests, the Mongolian Artisan Award is given to "photos selected by Mongolian artisans who make HushTug products."
The product that impresses the craftsmen who look at the actual product more than anyone else is the one that is selected.
We're sure you're curious to know how our products are being used in faraway Japan, so please show us how you use HushTug products on a daily basis.

How to enter the photo contest
There are three ways to enter the HushTug Photo Contest:
- LINE
①Open Instagram and press the Post [+] button at the top of the screen.
②Select the photo you want to upload to Instagram and press "Next."
(Additional Note) If you want to make the photo even more stylish, you may want to edit the photo on the next screen.
③Enter #hushtug #hushtugphotocontest in the caption field and click "Share" in the top right to complete your submission.

① Create a new email and press the button to attach an image.
②Select an image and enter your nickname or name if possible.

Recommended shooting methods
Even if you don't normally take photos, don't worry!
Even beginners can take good photos if they keep these three points in mind.
①Do not take pictures of unnecessary things
If everyday items such as cables or plastic bottles are included in the photo, it will look like an everyday scene and the overall photo will lack style.
It's a good idea to avoid unnecessary things and aim for a clean background!
② Be aware of how the light hits the subject
The appearance of the product and the whole picture can be completely different depending on the intensity of the light and the direction it hits.
Both of the photos above were taken on the same day and no adjustments were made to the lighting, but can you see how the bags look completely different?
Of course, a dark photo like the one on the left looks natural and fine, but generally speaking, the bag looks better when the light hits the wider surface of the bag.
The above is an extreme example, but by changing the shooting point or angle, you may be able to take an incredibly beautiful photo.
3. Consider the color of the background
The color of the background determines the impression of the photo.
As shown above, don't you think the green of the plants makes the colors of the clothes and bags stand out?
Other things include:
- Brown wood grain etc. → Calm, stylish
- Glass and inorganic concrete → Beautiful and stylish
- Shadows and dark colors → Luxury and dignity
Just by changing the background like this, it gives a completely different impression.
When taking a photo, try to imagine what the impression it will have if you take it in that area.
Unless you're someone who wants to take original photos and is already used to taking photos, try to keep the above three points in mind.

It has been about two years since we opened our online store. Thanks to all of you, many people have been able to purchase Mongolian leather products.
However, because we have little contact with customers due to online sales, we are interested to know how they are using our products, and all our craftsmen and staff are looking forward to this photo contest.
