Compared to bags and backpacks, the smart wallet seems expensive. Why is that?
The price of a smart wallet (14,850 yen) might seem high for its size compared to a body bag (22,000 yen).
However, small items require intricate work and demand advanced craftsmanship to produce.
For example, while bags are larger and have a relatively simple structure, small products like smart wallets involve:
- Precise stitching to achieve thinness
- Special reinforcement to maintain strength
- Highly skilled leather craftsmanship
The price isn't simply determined by the amount of leather used. It reflects the concentration of high-quality craftsmanship.
Why are black and grained leather the only colors available? Will other colors be added?
We are currently planning to expand our color range!
Until now, smart wallets have only been available in black and grained leather, but we have started a new partnership with a leather factory and are considering adding the following color variations:
- Color variations other than black (e.g., orange, navy)
- Use of vegetable-tanned leather that develops a patina over time
- Smooth leather without embossing
We will introduce samples on our blog and social media as soon as they arrive!
The card slots are too soft; I wish they were a bit stiffer.
We have now improved them with interlining to make them stiffer!
The initial batch did not use interlining, but we made improvements based on user feedback, and now they have a firm construction.

Does the leather have a strong smell?
The distinctive smell of leather products will diminish over time.
If you are concerned, please try methods such as:
- Wrap it in newspaper for a few days
- Place it in a well-ventilated area
Can banknotes be stored folded in half?
They cannot be stored folded in half.
They can be stored folded in thirds or quarters.
For those who wish to fold their banknotes in half, we recommend the slightly larger L-zip wallet.
Can I store my house keys with it?
You can store your keys in the central pocket along with cards and bills.
This is especially recommended for those who want to "integrate their wallet and keys."
Does the zipper ever get stuck?
We use YKK zippers, but occasionally due to manufacturing variations, they might catch.
