Product Features
#1The ultimate minimalist phone shoulder bag, finished in full leather
This phone shoulder pouch is entirely finished in leather on the surface, with minimal unnecessary embellishments.
It neatly organizes essentials like your smartphone and cards for going out, making it a natural fit for days when you want to carry minimal items.
#2Luxuriously crafted with globally acclaimed Himeji leather
It uses luxurious cowhide produced by a tanner (Nakajima Hikaku Kogyosho) in Himeji, a famous leather production area.
The leather is chrome-tanned, a process that makes it highly resistant to scratches, water stains, and fading, ensuring it maintains its pristine condition.
#39 meticulous details in the black phone shoulder pouch
1. Full-leather design with an all-leather surface
The entire surface is finished in full leather. By luxuriously using leather, we aimed to achieve a high-quality texture even within a simple design.
2. Magnetic closure for easy one-handed opening and closing
The magnetic flap allows for smooth one-handed opening and closing. This design enables you to retrieve your smartphone effortlessly when you're out and about.
3. Main compartment can hold up to an iPhone 17 Pro Max
The main compartment can store devices up to the size of an iPhone 17 Pro Max (external dimensions: height 163.4mm x width 78.0mm x thickness 8.75mm).
*May not fit depending on the type of case worn.
4. Card slot that can also hold public transport IC cards
A card slot is placed on the inside of the flap. It can also accommodate public transport IC cards, allowing you to carry your smartphone and cards together.
5. Inner material designed for easy access
The smartphone and card compartments intentionally use a different synthetic fabric. By making the material smoother than leather, smartphones and cards can be inserted and removed with ease.
6. Detachable shoulder strap
The detachable shoulder strap features original metal fittings. Its length can be easily adjusted to suit your outfit and carrying style.
7. For those who want to go out hands-free and light
Carrying a wallet is a hassle. But you still want to carry some coins and cards. The detachable "Pouch Wallet" is the perfect item for such needs.
8. Meticulous stitching by Japanese craftsmen
Each item is meticulously sewn by hand by Japanese craftsmen. Because of its undeniably simple design, attention to detail in stitching and edge finishing is paramount.
9. Subtle logo placement, only on the inside
To maintain a clean and minimalist impression, the logo is placed only on the inside. We hope you'll fondly recall HushTug in those fleeting moments when you retrieve your belongings.
About Us
#1What is HushTug?
HushTug is a leather brand that offers high-quality, simple leather products at affordable prices.
At the same time, by carrying out most of our leather production and sewing in Japan, we aim to solve social problems faced by the Japanese leather industry, such as a shortage of successors.
Thus, we are a social brand that aims to preserve the tradition of the Japanese leather industry for future generations through our brand operations.
#2About HushTug's Pricing
At HushTug, we value cost performance.
"Improve quality while keeping prices low."
To achieve these seemingly contradictory goals, we chose a business model where:
We handle everything from product planning and development to sales and post-purchase support in-house,
and cut costs as much as possible, excluding material and labor costs.
Since there are no intermediaries, we can cut unnecessary costs and provide highly cost-effective products.
#3The Makers' Vision
Most of HushTug's products are made by D.bell (formerly Handbag Suzuki).
We pour all the knowledge gained over 90 years of our company's history into our products to ensure customer satisfaction.
Through HushTug, we aim to solve the problem of a shortage of successors in the leather industry and pass on Japan's wonderful traditions to future generations.
Please take a look at our work in the page below if you'd like.
#4Our Thoughts on Selling Prices
At HushTug, with the desire to pass on traditional and excellent manufacturing techniques to future generations, we are committed to selling products at appropriate prices, and will raise prices if necessary to ensure that artisans are properly compensated.
Furthermore, to prevent customers who have supported HushTug from feeling sad that "the price is lower than when I bought it," we will, in principle, not lower product prices in the future, making the current price the lowest price.
Please take a look at our thoughts on price increases on the page below if you'd like.
#5Beware of color transfer and fading.
Due to the nature of genuine leather, using it when wet can cause color transfer and fading.
Please be especially careful in summer when you tend to sweat.
The following methods can help prevent color transfer to some extent. Please check them as well.
