About Mongolian Leather
At HushTug, we use leather from animals raised in the Mongolian wilderness for all of our products.

Characteristics of Mongolian leather
Mongolia has some of the harshest environments in the world, with temperatures ranging from 30°C in summer to minus 40°C in winter.
For this reason, animal leather grows to be extremely durable and is said to have a high ability to adapt to the environment.

The quality of the leather is highly regarded and it is exported to European countries such as Italy, a leather powerhouse.
It is also used in driver's seats of German luxury cars and is widely distributed around the world.
Nomadic life
All of the leather used by HushTug is sourced directly from Mongolian nomads.

They never kill animals for leather.
Animals that have lived healthy lives into adulthood are killed in as painless a way as possible.
Every HushTug product is built on the lives of fully-fledged animals.

We never forget our respect for these people and strive to create products that our customers will enjoy using for a long time.
About cowhide
All cowhide used at HushTug comes from adult cows that are at least two years old.

It is commonly called steerhide (male cow) and cowhide (female cow), and has three characteristics.
- It has a firm texture and a very strong and durable surface.
- Stable quality and individual differences are unlikely to occur
- Enjoy the rich aging process
Maintenance is required as little as once every 1-2 months, so even those who are not familiar with leather products can use it with confidence.
About tanning
The process of turning animal hides into leather for use in products is called tanning.
At HushTug, we use a technique called "chrome tanning" because we want our customers to be able to use our products for a long time in good condition.

Chrome tanning is resistant to scratches and dirt, and retains its texture for a long time.
The color may not darken over time, but the leather will naturally soften and take on a slightly worn appearance.
The way the bag ages will vary depending on how you use it, so you can enjoy watching it grow into a bag that is uniquely yours.
About the production method
Many of our products are made in our own factory in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia.

For bags and other products, we use a single piece of luxurious leather and finish it with a smooth surface.
Everything is handmade, and it takes about eight hours to complete one product, including all the steps.

Skilled craftsmen perform this work with such precision that even a mistake of a few millimeters is not permitted.

We also carry out four inspections during production, ensuring quality control that is on par with that of higher-priced brands.
