Product Features
#1Our minimalist leather backpack, re-released due to popular demand.
Although this product was previously discontinued, we received numerous requests from customers asking us to bring it back. We are pleased to announce its re-release.
#2Luxurious use of Himeji leather, highly acclaimed worldwide
We use luxurious cowhide leather produced by Nakajima Hikaku Kogyosho, a tannery in Himeji, a renowned leather-producing region.
Enjoy the strong, supple Himeji leather, crafted using traditional techniques cultivated over 65 years of history, and its beautiful aging process.
#3Five features of our mini leather backpack
1. The entire exterior is made of high-quality Himeji leather. In today's market, many products only use leather on a part of the surface due to cost considerations. HushTug achieves this cost performance by significantly cutting intermediary margins.
2. It's perfectly sized to hold all your essentials for a day out.

3. The leather is treated with chrome tanning, which makes it resistant to scratches, water stains, and color fading, allowing for long-lasting use in pristine condition.
Below, we verify how resistant the Himeji leather used by HushTug is to scratches, water stains, and wrinkles.
4. We use world-renowned YKK zippers (EVERBRIGHT Gold No. 5), known for their smooth operation and high durability.
5. For the lining, HushTug carefully selected a suede-like fabric with a smooth texture and subtle sheen. HushTug's attention to detail extends to even the unseen parts.

About Us
#1What is HushTug?
HushTug is a leather brand that offers high-quality, simple leather products at affordable prices.
At the same time, by carrying out most of our leather production and sewing in Japan, we aim to solve social problems faced by the Japanese leather industry, such as a shortage of successors.
Thus, we are a social brand that aims to preserve the tradition of the Japanese leather industry for future generations through our brand operations.
#2About HushTug's Pricing
At HushTug, we value cost performance.
"Improve quality while keeping prices low."
To achieve these seemingly contradictory goals, we chose a business model where:
We handle everything from product planning and development to sales and post-purchase support in-house,
and cut costs as much as possible, excluding material and labor costs.
Since there are no intermediaries, we can cut unnecessary costs and provide highly cost-effective products.
#3The Makers' Vision
Most of HushTug's products are made by D.bell (formerly Handbag Suzuki).
We pour all the knowledge gained over 90 years of our company's history into our products to ensure customer satisfaction.
Through HushTug, we aim to solve the problem of a shortage of successors in the leather industry and pass on Japan's wonderful traditions to future generations.
Please take a look at our work in the page below if you'd like.
#4Our Thoughts on Selling Prices
At HushTug, with the desire to pass on traditional and excellent manufacturing techniques to future generations, we are committed to selling products at appropriate prices, and will raise prices if necessary to ensure that artisans are properly compensated.
Furthermore, to prevent customers who have supported HushTug from feeling sad that "the price is lower than when I bought it," we will, in principle, not lower product prices in the future, making the current price the lowest price.
Please take a look at our thoughts on price increases on the page below if you'd like.
#5Beware of color transfer and fading.
Due to the nature of genuine leather, using it when wet can cause color transfer and fading.
Please be especially careful in summer when you tend to sweat.
The following methods can help prevent color transfer to some extent. Please check them as well.
