The December shipment has been shipped to Japan.

Hello!

This is a HushTug Hariuner.

November was the most difficult month for the Mongolian workshop, with many issues cropping up.
However, thanks to the hard work of our craftsmen and employees, the shipment to Japan in December was completed successfully.

So,
This time, continuing from the previous inspection process, we will introduce the process from shipping products from Mongolia to Japan.

The photo above shows the product after inspection.

In order to ship this item to Japan, it will be packed individually.

Packaging Information

We use air cushioning, cloth bags, bubble wrap, and cardboard for packaging.
We will introduce each role and packing procedure in order.

1. Air cushioning keeps the bag in shape

First, we put air cushioning inside the product.
By inserting air cushioning material, the product will maintain its shape even if it is subjected to pressure during shipping.

2. Wrap the product in a cloth bag

If the product is placed directly inside the cardboard box during shipping, there is a risk of dirt or dust on the surface.
To prevent this, we wrap the products in cloth bags to prevent them from getting dirty.

3. Place bubble wrap on the bottom of the cardboard box

We put bubble wrap on the bottom of the cardboard box before putting the product inside.
This is because the airport company's cardboard boxes are often poorly handled, which could cause the product to lose its shape during delivery, so we include this in order to prevent this.

4. Finally, wrap the product in the cloth bag in bubble wrap.

Finally, the products are placed in cloth bags and then wrapped in bubble wrap to complete the packaging process.

Compared to Japan, Mongolian delivery companies are not particularly good at handling packages.
As a result, we currently have to use a large amount of cushioning material to deliver products safely to Japan.

I would be happy if HushTug could help change this way of working in Mongolia, even if only a little at a time.

About Shipping

HushTug uses DHL Global Forwarding, commonly known as DHL, for delivery.
DHL is a company that handles international shipping.

Once you hand over the packed cardboard boxes, the export paperwork process will begin.
Once you have completed the export documentation (invoice & packing list and Certificate of Origin) and handed them over to DHL, the export procedures from Mongolia will be completed and the goods will be delivered to our warehouse in Japan.

The products are delivered to our warehouse in Japan, sorted, and then delivered to the customer.

This time, we introduced the process from product packaging to delivery.

The December delivery marked the 11th export from Mongolia to Japan.
When I went through the export procedures for the first time, everything from packaging to preparing the export-related documents was new to me, so I started from scratch.

At first, I didn't know what export documents were. (laughs)

The biggest problem I've had during my 11 exports so far is when the export documents were missing by the time they arrived at Narita Airport.

I checked with the shipping company

He insisted that "that can't be true" and said that it was the first time something like this had happened.

Mongolia is a country where troubles like this that are unthinkable in Japan often occur. (laughs)

It was clear that the documents were missing when the item was shipped from Mongolia to Japan.
It was not clear who had lost the documents, but I was able to receive my package by paying more customs duty than usual.

Since then, we have changed the shipping procedure to Japan to prevent documents from getting lost, and we have been able to export to Japan without any such issues.

We are sure that unexpected problems will continue to occur in the future, but we will continue to do our best to deliver high-quality products to our customers in good condition.
Thank you for always supporting Mongolia!

Stay tuned for the next update!
