[Go Beyond!] The thoughts behind the HushTug brand logo
Hello! This is Nakajima from HushTug.
This time, the HushTug brand logo is complete, so I would like to introduce it to you all!
Until now, we have just used HushTug as our brand logo, but now the official logo is complete.
The logo expresses the thoughts that HushTug holds dear, so we'd like to introduce the thoughts that we put into the brand logo!
What kind of brand is HushTug?
For those of you who don't know much about HushTug, here's a quick rundown of what kind of brand it is!
1. Simple design with no unnecessary features
HushTug products do not display any logos that assert the brand, as we want to create products that bring out the best in our customers.
Furthermore, we offer products with simple designs that are not affected by trends, as we want our products to last a long time!
2. All information is open
At HushTug, we want to be an honest brand to our customers, so we disclose all information about the materials used in our products, the factories and craftsmen who make them, and the costs of the manufacturing process.
We aim to be a brand that customers can purchase with confidence by discreetly disclosing all information!
3. Pricing your products without waste
The selling price of HushTug is about half that of other brands that use genuine leather.
This does not mean that we use inferior leather or that we cut back on labor costs to our craftsmen.
They use high-quality Mongolian leather that is also exported to Italy, the home of leather. Because the work involves detailed and time-consuming work, they pay labor costs about 25% higher than the market rate, and they import YKK parts from Japan.
"Improve quality but keep prices down"
In order to achieve these two seemingly contradictory goals, we chose a business model that involves doing everything in-house - from running the workshop to planning and developing products to selling them - and cutting costs as much as possible other than material and labor costs.
The thoughts behind the brand logo
When I decided to start HushTug, people around me said things like:
"Starting a brand as an apparel beginner? Making world-class quality bags in Mongolia? Obviously that's impossible."
However, we never gave up and HushTug is what it is today thanks to our strong desire to "not give up on the challenge just because others influence us" and the support of our customers.
It is because of this experience that we have put this meaning into the HushTug brand logo!
1. Make the moment of opening the cardboard box the best it can be
At first glance, it looks like a box.
Since we mainly do e-commerce, products arrive to customers in cardboard boxes.
I think the most exciting moment for our customers is when they open the cardboard box that arrives.
With the desire to "make that moment the best it can be," HushTug strives to create an emotional experience when customers open the box, both in Mongolia and in Japan, in order to convey their gratitude to them.
2. Let's go beyond everything
Arrows like this ↗ ↙ come out from the black ◾ (square) in the middle, and ◾ represents stereotypes.
Don't be trapped by the common sense that it's impossible, but go outside of common sense.
It is our desire to take on challenges without fear of failure and go beyond common sense.
Also, if we think of ◾ as Japan, an island nation, it can also be seen as an attempt to transcend national borders.
In addition, if we consider ◾ to represent the current era, it carries a message of being aware of the past and future and transcending generations.
At HushTug, we aim to be a brand that can support everyone who takes on challenges, and we ourselves express our desire to be a brand that is always taking on challenges.
lastly
This time we introduced the HushTug logo!
The logo expresses the values that HushTug holds dear - "gratitude to customers" and "continuous challenges" - and I think it is a logo that is very HushTug-like.
This brand logo will be reflected in the online store and Instagram logo from time to time, so stay tuned!
Thank you for reading to the end this time as well.
