[First installment] We interviewed a customer! [Mr. Watanabe, who uses the leather tote and multi-purpose case]

Hello! This is Oishi from HushTug.

Recently, we had the opportunity to interview someone who purchased a HushTug product!

He spoke candidly about the products he regularly uses and his impressions of HushTug.

The person we interviewed this time was Watanabe-san, who works in real estate in Tochigi Prefecture.

It seems that she is a big fan of HushTug's leather tote and multi-purpose case!

- How did you find out about HushTug?

I still remember how I found out about it, it was on Instagram!

I was scrolling through various things when I first came across a photo of your leather tote with a camera perched on it.

The leather tote was also the item I purchased at that time. I ordered it at the end of 2019 and it arrived around January 2020, so I've been using it for about a year and a half now.

- So you're using a leather tote! How did you like the product?

First of all, it's very easy to use! The size and the length of the handle are just right for me.

Also, it may be rude to say it was unexpected, but it could hold more than I expected, so it was easier to use than I thought! That was my first impression.

While using it, I felt that the design was really cool.

The leather tote and multi-purpose case that Watanabe-san actually uses

At first, I was thinking of using it for work, but before I knew it, I was using it privately when I went out with my kids or on my days off, so I'm thinking, "Maybe I should buy another one!" lol

Since I work in the real estate industry, there is still a strong paper-based culture at work, and we end up with thick documents such as contracts and explanatory notes.

The great thing about HushTug's leather tote is that it can easily fit A4 size items!

I'm sure there are many other products that claim to be able to fit A4 size documents, but if you look closely, the corners of things like clear files can get caught.

With this tote, you don't have to worry about that and you can use it casually, in a good way.

- I'm very happy that you are satisfied with the usability of the leather tote! What is your impression of the HushTug brand?

Since my first introduction was through an ad on Instagram, I was honestly a little worried at the time and thought "I should do more research before buying it..."

However, when I looked into it, I was really impressed by the idea of "creating a new industry in Mongolia."

I am involved in management at my current company, and I am very interested in creating customers and giving birth to new industries.

Until then, I wasn't very familiar with the country of Mongolia itself, and all I knew was Mongolian rock salt.

I was really touched by this and thought, "There are people out there who are trying things with such passion!" I started researching HushTug to find out what their perspective was when they made things.

It's a very positive image in that respect!

Another thing that surprised me was that they listed the cost price. This was quite a shock, and I was surprised they were so open about it.

Manufacturing cost listed on the leather tote page

It was a much more persuasive way of expressing myself than simply saying "We are an honest company," so I felt that this was a very honest company and organization that was working with great passion.

So I thought to myself that I wanted to buy the products that these people make and buy things from them.

With that in mind, and because the product itself was good, I was happy when people around me complimented it by saying, "It's cool," and I began to recommend it to others by saying, "This is Mongolian leather."

The multi-purpose case that she loves to use. The notebook cover is made of Tochigi Leather, and her work items are all made of genuine leather.

- Thank you! What do you expect from HushTug in the future?

One thing I would like is for the product lineup to be more extensive!

The materials are so good that I think, "It would be fun to make something like this." Anyway, I'd like to see them make a variety of things. (laughs)

Another thing to consider is expanding sales channels. I think that these days, advertising is done on social media such as Instagram, but I think there are still many people who would like to see the actual product.

I think it would be difficult for people like me who live in the countryside to come to Tokyo just for that, so I think if there were more physical stores spread around the country it would be easier to purchase and we would probably have more fans.

It's hard to imagine Mongolia on a large scale, so I'd love to see "where it is and how it's made?"

I know it's difficult right now because of the COVID-19 pandemic, but I'd love to see some people like that come together and plan some kind of experience tour to go see Mongolia!

This time, we interviewed Mr. Watanabe, who actually purchased the product.

For us staff, selling online means we have few opportunities to meet customers in person, so this was a very valuable experience.

I am currently interviewing the HushTug ambassador who was previously announced, but I would like to continue speaking with various customers and receiving their feedback in order to further improve the HushTug brand.

Thank you for reading to the end this time as well.
