Hello, I'm Nakajima, the designer of HushTug.

This time, we will introduce some leather care products that you can use at home.

Leather care products are also available at the Ikebukuro main store, but they cannot be purchased there.

We will also include some reference products that can be purchased online, so be sure to check them out.

1. Horsehair brush

Uses: A soft horsehair brush that can be used on bags and shoes.

Features: Perfect for removing dust and debris from bags. Can also be used on shoes, but is primarily used for bag care.

How to use: Simply brush the surface to care for it.

2. Delicate cream

Uses: For dry leather.

Features: A light oil that prevents slime and stains. It can also be used on the leather products and small items used by Hashtag.

Note: If you apply too much to tanned leather, it may stain, so use a small amount.

3. Aniline cream (cream for tanned leather)

Uses: Used on smooth leather (calf leather) with a surface that is relatively smooth.

Features: This cream is suitable for smooth surfaces and prevents the leather from drying out. It is best suited for leather with a smooth surface.

4. Protection cream (for cordovan)

Uses: Ideal for shell cordovan leather, which contains a lot of oil.
Features: By using it on cordovan leather, which easily absorbs water, it prevents dryness and the tips from becoming loose.
How to use: Gently apply the cream in the direction of the fibers and lay them flat.

5. Stain Cleansing Water (stain remover)

Uses: Cleansing leather surfaces (especially chrome-tanned) to remove dirt.
Features: Use on bag handles and other areas that are easily soiled by oils from hands and sweat. Use once a month, especially in summer, for best results.

How to use: Use a small amount and gently wipe the affected area.

Caution: If used on tannin-based products such as tanned leather, stains may occur.

6. Complementary cream (for replenishing color)

Uses: Cream for replenishing color in worn areas of the bag.
Features: Easy to use on black leather, but navy and grey require color adjustment.
How to use: Adjust according to the color you are using and apply to the rubbed area.

7. Waterproof spray (Collonil)

Uses: Waterproof spray for shoes, bags, etc.
Features: Can be used on a wide range of leather products, but waterproof sprays designed for shoes are not suitable for bags.
How to use: Spray evenly onto bag or jacket.
