[What is Tensha Day?] In 2022, 3/26 is Tensha Day! This is the best day to buy a new wallet.

Hello!

This is Oishi from HushTug.

It's already the second half of March, and new lives and new fiscal years are about to begin.

Meanwhile, March 26th in 2022 is said to be Tensha-nichi (Tenshabi), an auspicious day to start something new.

What is Tensha Day?

First of all, I didn't know what Tensha Day was, but apparently it's a particularly auspicious day in the Chinese and Japanese calendars.

Apparently it's the day when heaven forgives everything .

When we say that heaven forgives, it sounds like bad deeds are being allowed, which doesn't really sound right, but it's actually a great day when bad deeds are not being allowed, but rather various obstacles are removed so that no matter what you do, it will go well!

It's an auspicious day

  • Start a lesson
  • Go shopping
  • moving

It seems to be a good time to start something new.

Also, since this is a rare and auspicious day that only comes around a few times a year, it's also a great time to replace everyday items such as wallets and bags!

It is said that buying a new wallet on Tensha Day will bring good luck with money, and since it is not an item that people replace frequently, many people aim to buy a new wallet on Tensha Day.

March 26th is also Ichiryuu Manbai-bi (One Grain, One Million Times Day)

Furthermore, March 26th, 2022, coincides with the auspicious day known as "Ichiri Manbai Day."

This is also said to be an auspicious day for starting something new, as "one grain of rice can produce ten thousand times the amount of rice," meaning that small things started on this day will grow into something good.

This Ichiritsu Manbai day is said to be even more auspicious if it coincides with Tensha Day.

Although we don't usually pay much attention to this calendar, whether you believe in good fortune or not, it is a great opportunity to start something new or buy something!

Last month, HushTug released two types of wallets in collaboration with Japanese artisans, and are currently accepting pre-orders for expected delivery around May 10th.

Why not take this opportunity to consider replacing your wallet?
