Product Features
#1A Touch of Luxury in Your Pocket
With a thickness of only 1cm, this compact design is thoughtfully crafted to hold coins, cards, and several bills.
Since a wallet is something you use every day, we aim to create products that make you feel good just by carrying them, and that enrich your daily life, even if just a little.
#2Full Leather Specifications for Both Luxury and Ultimate Simplicity
The lavish use of genuine leather on both the exterior and interior creates a sense of substantiality and luxury that belies its small size.
While the exterior pursues ultimate simplicity with no unnecessary adornments, the interior is a masterpiece, meticulously crafted down to every stitch.
#2Lavish use of Himeji leather, highly acclaimed worldwide
We lavishly use cowhide produced by Nakajima Hikaku Kogyosho, a tanner in Himeji, a famous leather producing region.
Please enjoy the strong, supple Himeji leather, made with traditional techniques cultivated over 65 years of history, and its beautiful aging process.
#49 Commitments in Our Fragment Case
1. We've achieved ultimate simplicity by eliminating all unnecessary embellishments. Because of its simplicity, there's no hiding any imperfections in stitching or shape, demanding extremely precise manufacturing techniques.
2. The leather is chrome-tanned. It is highly resistant to scratches, water stains, and discoloration, allowing it to be used in beautiful condition for a long time.
Below, we verify how resistant the Himeji leather used by HushTug is to scratches, water stains, and wrinkles.
3. By making the leather as thin as possible, we achieved a thickness of just 1cm. It's roughly the same size as a typical smartphone, so it fits neatly into your pocket without bulk.
4. Equipped with a total of 6 pockets (1 main pocket, 4 card slots, 1 free pocket). Despite its compact size, it holds everything you need, and bills can be folded into thirds.
5. The hardware uses YKK zippers from Japan (EVERBRIGHT Gold No. 3), which are highly acclaimed worldwide. In addition to the design that sharpens the impression, we pursued a smooth closure even with a large capacity.
6. Through the meticulous handwork of Japanese artisans, we have achieved flawless stitching. The simple design allows no room for imperfection, so we strive for perfection in every detail.
7. Himeji leather becomes a unique, one-of-a-kind item that molds to your hand and develops a rich character the more you use it.
8. The card storage section is finished with satin material instead of leather on the inside, balancing both design and functionality.
9. By adding a gusset to the main pocket, we expanded the range of motion, allowing the wallet to open wide, and ensuring all edges are parallel when closed, maintaining a beautiful design.

About Us
#1What is HushTug?
HushTug is a leather brand that offers high-quality, simple leather products at affordable prices.
At the same time, by carrying out most of our leather production and sewing in Japan, we aim to solve social problems faced by the Japanese leather industry, such as a shortage of successors.
Thus, we are a social brand that aims to preserve the tradition of the Japanese leather industry for future generations through our brand operations.
#2About HushTug's Pricing
At HushTug, we value cost performance.
"Improve quality while keeping prices low."
To achieve these seemingly contradictory goals, we chose a business model where:
We handle everything from product planning and development to sales and post-purchase support in-house,
and cut costs as much as possible, excluding material and labor costs.
Since there are no intermediaries, we can cut unnecessary costs and provide highly cost-effective products.
#3The Makers' Vision
Most of HushTug's products are made by D.bell (formerly Handbag Suzuki).
We pour all the knowledge gained over 90 years of our company's history into our products to ensure customer satisfaction.
Through HushTug, we aim to solve the problem of a shortage of successors in the leather industry and pass on Japan's wonderful traditions to future generations.
Please take a look at our work in the page below if you'd like.
#4Our Thoughts on Selling Prices
At HushTug, with the desire to pass on traditional and excellent manufacturing techniques to future generations, we are committed to selling products at appropriate prices, and will raise prices if necessary to ensure that artisans are properly compensated.
Furthermore, to prevent customers who have supported HushTug from feeling sad that "the price is lower than when I bought it," we will, in principle, not lower product prices in the future, making the current price the lowest price.
Please take a look at our thoughts on price increases on the page below if you'd like.
#5Beware of color transfer and fading.
Due to the nature of genuine leather, using it when wet can cause color transfer and fading.
Please be especially careful in summer when you tend to sweat.
The following methods can help prevent color transfer to some extent. Please check them as well.
