Product Features
#1A compact wallet for the cashless era
In this cashless age, fewer people carry bills and coins.
We developed a compact wallet for smart payments.
#2Full-leather specification, finished with genuine leather on both the surface and inside
A luxurious specification with genuine leather on both the interior and exterior.
By paying attention to every detail, we elevated the design to one that exudes luxury despite its compact size.
■ From the production manager
#3Luxurious use of Himeji leather, highly praised worldwide
This product luxuriously uses cowhide produced by Nakajima Leather Industry, a tanner in Himeji, a renowned leather production area.
Enjoy the strong, supple Himeji leather, crafted using traditional techniques cultivated over 65 years of history, and its beautiful aging process.
#4Our commitment to the smart wallet
1. We've eliminated all unnecessary embellishments to achieve ultimate simplicity. Because of this simplicity, there's no way to hide any imperfections in stitching or shape, requiring extremely precise manufacturing techniques.
2. Designed to fit in one hand, it slides neatly into your pocket without bulk.
3. By eliminating all unnecessary embellishments, we achieved ultimate simplicity and designed it to maximize the luxurious feel unique to genuine leather.
4. To make card insertion and removal easy, we deliberately finished the inside of the pockets with satin instead of leather, balancing both design and functionality.
5. We use YKK fasteners (EXCELLA Black No. 3), highly acclaimed worldwide. In addition to their design, which enhances the overall impression, we pursued smoothness to allow for easy closing even with a large capacity.
6. Each edge is carefully painted and sewn by hand by Japanese craftsmen. Due to its uncompromisingly simple design, we strive for perfection in every detail.
7. The leather undergoes a process called chrome tanning. It is resistant to "scratches, water stains, and color fading," allowing you to use it beautifully for a long time.
Below, we verify how resistant the Himeji leather used by HushTug is to scratches, water stains, and wrinkles.
8. Himeji leather adapts to your hand the more you use it, developing a unique character that becomes one of a kind.
9. To pursue ultimate simplicity, the logo is only embossed on the inside. We hope you'll think of HushTug for a fleeting moment when you take something out.

#5How the collaboration product came to be sold
This smart wallet is a collaborative product combining the highest-level technology of Japanese sewing companies with the globally acclaimed Himeji leather.
Handbag Suzuki, which undertook the production of this product, faced a crisis of closure due to a 50% reduction in orders caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, coupled with a chronic shortage of successors.
However, the company possesses an established, world-class technology, with numerous production achievements and expertise, including for high-end brands.
Therefore, we decided to jointly develop a product that combines the globally acclaimed Himeji leather with Japan's excellent sewing technology.
This project was launched to pass on Japan's world-class sewing technology to future generations and to spread the appeal of Himeji leather worldwide.
This smart wallet, which carries that hope, is a product HushTug is proud of.
Please look forward to it.
About Us
#1What is HushTug?
HushTug is a leather brand that offers high-quality, simple leather products at affordable prices.
At the same time, by carrying out most of our leather production and sewing in Japan, we aim to solve social problems faced by the Japanese leather industry, such as a shortage of successors.
Thus, we are a social brand that aims to preserve the tradition of the Japanese leather industry for future generations through our brand operations.
#2About HushTug's Pricing
At HushTug, we value cost performance.
"Improve quality while keeping prices low."
To achieve these seemingly contradictory goals, we chose a business model where:
We handle everything from product planning and development to sales and post-purchase support in-house,
and cut costs as much as possible, excluding material and labor costs.
Since there are no intermediaries, we can cut unnecessary costs and provide highly cost-effective products.
#3The Makers' Vision
Most of HushTug's products are made by D.bell (formerly Handbag Suzuki).
We pour all the knowledge gained over 90 years of our company's history into our products to ensure customer satisfaction.
Through HushTug, we aim to solve the problem of a shortage of successors in the leather industry and pass on Japan's wonderful traditions to future generations.
Please take a look at our work in the page below if you'd like.
#4Our Thoughts on Selling Prices
At HushTug, with the desire to pass on traditional and excellent manufacturing techniques to future generations, we are committed to selling products at appropriate prices, and will raise prices if necessary to ensure that artisans are properly compensated.
Furthermore, to prevent customers who have supported HushTug from feeling sad that "the price is lower than when I bought it," we will, in principle, not lower product prices in the future, making the current price the lowest price.
Please take a look at our thoughts on price increases on the page below if you'd like.
#5Beware of color transfer and fading.
Due to the nature of genuine leather, using it when wet can cause color transfer and fading.
Please be especially careful in summer when you tend to sweat.
The following methods can help prevent color transfer to some extent. Please check them as well.
