Product Features
#1Ultimate simplicity, stripped of all unnecessary embellishments.
#2Luxuriously crafted with Himeji leather, highly acclaimed worldwide.
We use cowhide leather produced by Nakajima Hikaku Kogyosho, a tannery in Himeji, a famous leather-producing region.

#314 commitments to the 2-Way Square Bag
1. We developed a 2-way handbag with an eye-catching square design featuring straight lines.
2. It is a full leather specification, with the entire surface finished in leather.
3. It's sized to hold all the essentials for a private outing.
[Contents]
① Long wallet ② Plastic bottle ③ iPad ④ Key case ⑤ iPhone 15 Pro Max ⑥ Pouch ⑦ AirPods Pro
4. The rigid core material inserted into the surface allows it to stand upright for a long time.
5. Equipped with free pockets inside and on the front. You can store small items such as smartphones and keys.
6. A metal core is installed inside the corners of the bottom, which are prone to stress. This sturdy core material prevents the bag from warping, allowing you to use it beautifully for a long time.
7. A bottom plate is attached to the bottom of the bag to prevent it from deforming even when heavy items are placed inside.
8. The lining is made of a smooth suede-like synthetic fiber.
9. The handles are rounded for a comfortable grip.
10. The bag's opening features a magnetic strap. It can be smoothly opened and closed with one hand, maintains a beautiful silhouette, and creates an elegant impression.
11. To maximize the design of the surface, we also paid close attention to the shoulder strap hardware.
12. The leather is chrome-tanned. It is resistant to scratches, water stains, and color fading, allowing you to use it beautifully for a long time.
Below, we verify how resistant the Himeji leather used by HushTug is to scratches, water stains, and wrinkles.
13. Each item is carefully sewn by hand by Japanese craftsmen. Because of its uncompromisingly simple design, we pursue perfection down to the smallest detail.
14. To achieve ultimate simplicity, the logo is only placed on the inside. We hope you'll fondly recall HushTug in those fleeting moments when you reach for your belongings.

About Us
#1What is HushTug?
HushTug is a leather brand that offers high-quality, simple leather products at affordable prices.
At the same time, by carrying out most of our leather production and sewing in Japan, we aim to solve social problems faced by the Japanese leather industry, such as a shortage of successors.
Thus, we are a social brand that aims to preserve the tradition of the Japanese leather industry for future generations through our brand operations.
#2About HushTug's Pricing
At HushTug, we value cost performance.
"Improve quality while keeping prices low."
To achieve these seemingly contradictory goals, we chose a business model where:
We handle everything from product planning and development to sales and post-purchase support in-house,
and cut costs as much as possible, excluding material and labor costs.
Since there are no intermediaries, we can cut unnecessary costs and provide highly cost-effective products.
#3The Makers' Vision
Most of HushTug's products are made by D.bell (formerly Handbag Suzuki).
We pour all the knowledge gained over 90 years of our company's history into our products to ensure customer satisfaction.
Through HushTug, we aim to solve the problem of a shortage of successors in the leather industry and pass on Japan's wonderful traditions to future generations.
Please take a look at our work in the page below if you'd like.
#4Our Thoughts on Selling Prices
At HushTug, with the desire to pass on traditional and excellent manufacturing techniques to future generations, we are committed to selling products at appropriate prices, and will raise prices if necessary to ensure that artisans are properly compensated.
Furthermore, to prevent customers who have supported HushTug from feeling sad that "the price is lower than when I bought it," we will, in principle, not lower product prices in the future, making the current price the lowest price.
Please take a look at our thoughts on price increases on the page below if you'd like.
#5Beware of color transfer and fading.
Due to the nature of genuine leather, using it when wet can cause color transfer and fading.
Please be especially careful in summer when you tend to sweat.
The following methods can help prevent color transfer to some extent. Please check them as well.
