Why was the launch of the smart wallet delayed by four years?
Having gained confidence from his experiences in Japan, Toda immediately returned to Mongolia with the aim of mass-producing smart wallets.
But tragedy suddenly struck.
When making small leather items such as smart wallets, a machine to thin the leather is essential, but that machine broke.
If it had simply broken, we could have simply bought a new one, but there are very few companies in Mongolia that use plows, so the equipment we were using was the last remaining one in the country...
We were forced to give up on mass production of smart wallets because it was no longer physically possible to produce them.
Now on sale in collaboration with Japanese craftsmen!
About four years later, in collaboration with a Japanese craftsman (Handbag Suzuki Co.), we were able to produce small leather items, and the long-awaited smart wallet was completed.
This is a smart wallet that holds such fond memories, but to suit the cashless era, it has been reborn as an even more stylish smart wallet, designed to be thinner than when it was made four years ago.

However, the company had a wealth of production experience and skills, including for high-end brands, and possessed solid technology that could be proudly presented on the world stage.
This is why we have decided to jointly develop a product that combines Mongolian leather, which is highly regarded around the world, with Japan's excellent sewing techniques.
This project was launched to pass on Japan's world-class sewing techniques to future generations while spreading the appeal of Mongolian leather to the world.
